Psalm 29 - Trust Jesus

Praise the Lord in the midst of the storm.
When we are troubled, worried, angry, or fearful....
He is still Lord.
He is and will always be Lord of all.
Trust Him today.
He will never leave those who know Him and call upon His Name.
His Name is Jesus, The Lord.
Jesus is the Lord of the storm.
Trust Him.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

1.The Truth, Power, Love and Salvation given through Jesus Christ.

2. The Need to Fellowship with Him, and welcome others with the Gospel and the Love of God.

These are based on “The Two Great Commandments”

Matthew 22:37-40 - King James Version

“ The Two Great Commandments”

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."

38 This is the first and great commandment."

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Apostles' Creed

Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit

and born of the virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried;

he descended to hell.

The third day he rose again from the dead.

He ascended to heaven

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.

From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic* church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places

__________

This creed is called the Apostles' Creed not because it was produced by the

apostles themselves but because it contains a brief summary of their

teachings. It sets forth their doctrine "in sublime simplicity, in

unsurpassable brevity, in beautiful order, and with liturgical solemnity." In

its present form it is dated no later than the fourth century. More than any

other Christian creed, it may justly be called an ecumenical symbol of faith.

This translation of the Latin text was approved by the CRC Synod of 1988.
